VBP+ has been active in British Columbia since December 13, 2004. The program is managed through the British Columbia Cattlemen’s Association Program Delivery Inc. with representation from the 3 BC cattle associations:
Direction and support of the BC-VBP+ program is provided by the BC Cattlemen’s Association, BC Association of Cattle Feeders, the BC Breeder and Feeder Association and the BC Industry Development Fund. BC VBP+ has also received funding through both the Growing Forward 1 and 2 federal-provincial-territorial framework for several developmental and implementation projects.
